ST. THOMAS ORTHODOX THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY, NAGPUR INAUGRATES THE INTEGRATED FARM PROJECT

 

Another important initiative of the Seminary – an Integrated Farm Project – was inaugurated on March 7, 2017 by H.G. Geevarghese Mar Coorilos in the august presence of H.G Yuhanon Mar Chrysostomos and H.G Yuhanon Mar Diascoros. The Farm is a dream project aimed at rediscovering the losing relation between man and nature. The ambience surrounding this space comprising ofJava Sparrows, Pigeons, Fantail Pigeons, Kadaknath, Rhode Island Red, Giri Raja, Muscovy Duck, German Shepherd, New Zealand White Rabbit, Japanese Quails, Love Birds, Hens, Ducks and Dovesserves as a booster to be attentive to the vibrations of the silent voices in a crowded scenario. The Project also intends to be a source of income model for the villagers and in particular would also serve as a  support to the students of the Prerana Special School.Rev. Fr. John Mathew, Rev. Fr. Shinu Cherian and the final year student Rev. Dn. Cijo Chacko took special effort for the materialization of this dream project.
