On March 8, after the Divine Liturgy in the Church of the Resurrection of the Word of the Pokrovsky Stavropegic Convent, a meeting was held in the abbot’s building of the monastery between His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia and members of the delegation of the Malankara Church, who arrived from India to Russia to celebrate the day of remembrance of Blessed Matrona.
His Eminence Metropolitan Dr. Youhanon Mar Demetrios, Metropolitan of Delhi Diocese & President of the Department of Ecumenical Relations for the Malankara Church, His Eminence Metropolitan Dr Geevarghese Mar Yulios of Kunnumkulum Diocese, Vice President of the Department of Ecumenical Department and Rev. Fr. Aswin Fernandez, secretary to the Department of Ecumenical Relations, represented the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church.
